2010 Participating Restaurants
This year we have 10 restaurants to choose from offering a variety of dining experiences. Some restaurants such as Ralph 'n' Rich's, Roberto's, Cafe Roma and Holiday Inn's Parc 1070 have been involved since we started in 2007 and have never hesitated to give their support. Others are somewhat new to downtown and enthusiastically got involved such as Epernay Bistro, Two Boots, and Metric Bar & Grill (whom graciously hosted our 2008 after dinner social).
This year we have three new restaurants: the newly renovated Holiday Inn's Blue Martini Lounge , just opened Tiago's Restaurant & Bar and soon to be favorite aThe Field Restaurant & Bar.
The Field Restaurant & Bar
We are thrilled to have The Field Restaurant & Bar host our after dinner social this year! An Irish pub mixed with fine dining at it's best. The Field is under new management and featuring chef Stephen Hartigan.
Tiago's Restaurant & Bar
Tiago's is a new downtown restaurant on State Street with a taste of American/Portugese Cuisine.
Blue Martini Lounge
Out with the old, in with the new is what you'll see in the newly renovated Holiday Inn. The Blue Martini Lougne is "an oasis of chic" says the Connecticut Post with its soft blue lighting, inviting sofas, and ample specialy drinks menu.
Cafe Roma
Café Roma is an award-winning restaurant centrally located in the historic Bijou Square of downtown Bridgeport. Through its cuisine, Café Roma offers patrons the chance to let their senses be aroused by the Italian aura of old, yet with a twist of modern dining.
Epernay Bistro
Epernay Bistro prides its self on "specializing in simple cusine, pure ingredients
and attention to quality. Delicious, organic food with a French flair in a relaxing atmosphere. Pairing fine wines with great service in the heart of Bridgeport."
Metric Bar & Grill
The menu is infused with a Carribean and Asian Flavor including gourmet pasta, steak, fish along with great sandwiches, wraps, burgers. Described as "an undiscovered gem".
Parc 1070 Restaurant
Breakfast to lunch with the New York style deli buffet, it a favorite amoung the downtown business people. But don't just think of it for 9 to 5; come enjoy the chef's signature dishes for dinner including the finest steaks, chops, pasta, salmon, swordfish and more.
Ralph 'n' Rich's
Ralph 'n' Rich's reputation is unquestionable to be one of downtown's best restaurants. If you haven't experienced what everyone else is raving about, don't wait until last minute to get a table...book early, it's worth it!
Roberto's Restaurant
Family run Italian restaurant set in one of downtown's most beautiful buildings, a 19th century bank impeccably restored and hung with interesting art by local painters.
Two Boots of Bridgeport
For a fun night out with friends or family, Two Boots is a one of the hotest spots in downtown at night featuring live music. Incredibly creative pizza menu. Eccentric and festive decor makes it feel like you're in a trendy NYC pizza joint or perhaps New Orleans during Madi Gras.
