Why Dine Out on the Parade Route?

Dine Out on the Parade Route is just one of the many fundraising and support generating events sponsored by the Greater Bridgeport St. Patrick's Day Parade Celebration. This event was started in 2007 to celebrate the Greater Bridgeport St. Patrick's Day Parade's 25th Anniversay. The parade's success and growth throughout the years could not have been possible without the support of the local downtown business community.

Give to Give Back.
Give to support the parade and you are giving back to support the local Bridgeport community. As much as we hoped this new kind of event would broaden the base of St. Patrick's Day parade supporters, it is equally important to support the local community in which our parade has been established and thrived for the last 28 years.

Each year the event has evolved and this year's Dine Out on the Parade Route involves a Gift Certificate Campaign. Supporters can purchase gift certificates online and 15% is a donation to the parade. The gift certificates will be available for purchase online throughout the year and valid until March 5, 2011. So whether you're a regular or just curious to try someplace new, please buy your gift certificates here before you go. It's an easy and fun way to make a donation to the Greater Bridgeport St. Patrick's Day Parade Celebration!
